Johnny Depp was met with a crowd of fans outside his gig in Los Angeles on Sunday night, giving the group a cheery thumbs up as his security detail was on hand to keep him safe.
Appearing onstage once more with rock guitar player Jeff Beck, the duo played the Orpheum Theatre in downtown LA, as they continued their run of gigs that stretches from just before Depp’s legal victory over his ex-wife Amber Heard in their defamation trial in June.
The Pirates of the Caribbean was dressed in his usual garb, wearing dark jeans, boots, a cream striped shirt and grey waistcoat, which he matched with his fedora hat.
He accessorised with scarves tied around his neck and waist and a chunky collection of bracelets on each wrist, as well a pair of tinted sunglasses.
He also stopped to sign autographs for waiting fans before a bodyguard placed his hands around Depp’s middle and escorted him away.
As he walked along the front of the group, the 59-year-old also put his hands together in prayer to signal his gratitude and waved.

Beck and Depp released an album together, 18, in July that featured two original songs by the actor and musician, with the tracks titled This is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr and Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade.
They previously recorded a cover of John Lennon’s Isolation together in 2020.
Depp’s other plans in the pipeline include a reunion with his own band Hollywood Vampires next year, as well as the release of the period drama Jeanne du Barry, for which he has wrapped filming his scenes.
The star – who is reportedly no longer in a relationship with his lawyer, Joelle Rich – will also be the first man to make a cameo in Rihanna’s upcoming Savage x Fenty fashion show, which streams on Amazon Prime Video on November 9.

The news was met with some backlash, with Olly Alexander declaring he will now no longer wear the brand.
The Sweeney Todd actor’s legal team has also recently appealed what they call the ‘erroneous’ decision that awarded Heard $2million (£1.7m) in damages in their defamation trial in Virginia.
After the unanimous verdict, where Depp, 59, won all three of his defamation claims, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded $15m (£13m) in total, broken down as $10m (£8.3m) in compensatory damages and $5m (£4m) in punitive damages.
However, this was capped at $350,000 (£293,000) per Virginia state law, reducing the total to $8.35m (£7m).

Meanwhile, Heard was awarded $2m (£1.7m) in compensatory damages after winning one of her countersuit claims – and it is this verdict Depp wants to overturn.
The $2m in damages related to a series of statements made by Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, who described Heard’s allegations about a 2016 incident as ‘an ambush, a hoax’. The jury found that Depp defamed Heard via Waldman.
However, in the appeal brief from their filing on November 2, his lawyers have argued that he should not be held liable for Waldman’s comments.
Depp’s team also claimed that Heard’s lawyers gave no evidence that he was involved in making the remarks, and Waldman didn’t witness any interactions between Depp and Heard before he was hired.

The brief describes Waldman’s statements as the sole issue with the verdict.
Heard filed to appeal the verdict in July this year.
