Joe Wicks has made the exciting announcement that he’s launching his very own in-person gym, allowing fans of his workouts to come along and take part in exercise sessions with him.
The fitness coach, otherwise known as the Body Coach, shared the news of his temporary pop-up on Wednesday’s This Morning, where he explained that it’s been in the works for a ‘long time’.
During the pandemic, the internet star – who has more than 2.8million subscribers on YouTube – became a sensation across the nation thanks to his PE with Joe classes, encouraging people of all ages to get up and moving while they were stuck at home.
The 37-year-old was awarded an MBE in the Birthday Honours of 2020 and that same year, he raised over £2million for Children In Need after taking part in a 24-hour workout.
Speaking about his new venture on the ITV programme, he said: ‘I’ve been planning this for a long time and I can finally announce I’m actually opening a Body Coach gym in London.
‘It’s a pop-up, it’s called Body Coach Studios, and for three days in January, on the 20th, 21st and 22nd, we’re going to have a pop-up studio where you can come along and do a live workout with me in person.’

Joe revealed that he would be there in person for HIIT sessions, with another trainer called Lucy taking charge of yoga and trainer Lee doing sculpting classes.
He also described trainer India, who’s Deaf, as an ‘incredible’ member of the team.
‘So [we] really want to make it accessible to anyone, any fitness level, and also families can come along as well and do some workouts,’ he stated.
Tickets to attend Joe’s gym are going on sale this Friday on his website, thebodycoach.com.
That’s not all, as the money is also going to be donated to a good cause.
Joe explained that while he usually fundraises for Children In Need, this time around he wanted to help out local sports teams who might be in need of some extra money.
Sports teams are going to be allowed to apply for a grant, with £1,000 eventually being given to 15 different teams to help with things like kit and fees.
While Joe does already sponsor some local football teams himself in Surrey, he wanted to give other types of sports teams the chance to receive some funding.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
