Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink feels Portugal star Joao Felix is better suited to Chelsea than Arsenal and Manchester United.
The versatile 23-year-old – who can operate as a forward, winger or attacking midfielder – has been linked with a move to all three clubs.
Felix is into his fourth season at Atletico Madrid, having joined the Spanish club from Benfica in a deal worth more than £100m in 2019, but is reportedly open to leaving the La Liga side due to his strained relationship with boss Diego Simeone.
He has registered four goals and three assists across 13 Spanish top-flight games so far this term with his current contract not due to expire until 2026.
‘Arsenal don’t need Joao Felix, they need a different kind of profile,’ Hasselbaink told Betway.
‘Man United need an out-and-out striker, they have enough wingers and Chelsea are more in need but it depends which position they see him playing in.
‘Chelsea need to do business across the whole front three and they need also do business in midfield so Joao Felix would suit Chelsea most.’

Chelsea are targeting Felix as well as Benfica’s World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues spent around £280m on new signings in the summer and have already completed three deals in January.
Arsenal may miss out on Felix with the Premier League leaders appearing to be prioritising a move for Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Gunners are eager to bring in another forward option with Gabriel Jesus sidelined until March.
Patrice Evra, meanwhie, has urged United to pull out of the race to sign Felix and feels he is not the right fit the for club.
Atletico boss Simeone is reportedly ‘p****d off’ that Felix’s future has not been resolved while Paul Merson has warned that the player may ‘be a bit lightweight’ for the Premier League.
