Daily Mirror – Jill Dando Exclusive: Face of a Killer
The Daily Mirror says a man wanted for questioning over Jill Dando’s murder has very similar features to a Serbian assassin serving a 40-year prison sentence. The paper reports that “facial mapping” has shown that the man wanted for questioning about the 1999 murder bears a resemblance to a former assassin for Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic.
The front page also reports that Huw Edwards has quit the BBC nearly a year after he was last on air. He was involved in a scandal in July where a newspaper claimed he paid a teenager for sexually explicit images.
