A football super-fan was thrilled to FaceTime Manchester City star Jack Grealish a day after a goal was dedicated to him.
Finlay Fisher, 11, has been the talk of the World Cup after Grealish pulled the goal celebration the young boy asked for during England’s 6-2 win over Iran on Monday.
Grealish, who scored the final goal in the group match thrashing, posted a photo of the moment he did wiggly arms and blew a kiss.
He added the caption ‘for you Finlay’, accompanied by a heart.
In the FaceTime conversation yesterday, Finlay told Grealish: ‘I liked your goal.’
The footballer replied: ‘You liked the celebration more!’
Grealish then joked Finlay was now ‘famous’ after being ‘everywhere’, before the boy said: ‘I thought you’d forgotten.’
The pair met recently after Finlay, who has cerebral palsy, wrote Grealish a letter when he discovered the footballer’s sister, Hollie, also has the condition.

Finlay often falls due to his condition and was in hospital for a leg injury on Monday – and only just made it back in time to watch the match.
Speaking alongside his dad Dan Fisher, he told BBC Breakfast seeing the celebration was ‘like a dream come true’.
‘In the morning I injured my leg, so I had to go to A&E, but thankfully I got back 10 minutes before the match started,’ he explained.
‘I finally got back, and he scored. I was jumping around, or trying to jump.
‘At first I thought he wouldn’t remember, but when he did it, I was like: “Oh my God, he’s done the worm.”
‘It feels like a dream come true, I can’t say how happy I am. I’ve still not got over it yet.’
Finlay said seeing his hero was ‘like meeting Superman’.
‘I couldn’t believe it, I was star-struck,’ he said. ‘When you meet your idol, it’s like meeting Superman or Batman, you can’t imagine it.
‘He wanted to come and see me in his spare time, so I really want to thank him for that.’
Dad Dan said although he’s a Manchester United fan, he has ‘a lot of respect’ for Grealish.
