Tom Bradby has been commended following his gripping ITV interview with Prince Harry, with many praising him for being ‘compassionate’ while still holding the Duke of Sussex to account.
The royal sat down with the News at 10 anchor for a chat that spanned 90 minutes on Sunday night, ahead of the publication of his controversial autobiography Spare.
During the interview, Prince Harry voiced his criticisms of his father King Charles and shared his decision to leave the UK with his wife Meghan Markle.
He also said his family members had ‘gone to bed with the devil’ to help improve their image before the press, while later taking aim at Jeremy Clarkson for his hateful column about Meghan.
After all six parts had aired, many viewers flocked to social media to heap applause on British journalist Bradby, 55, with one calling for him to get his own series.

‘Wow! @tombradby is sensational in this Harry interview,’ one wrote. ‘Asking tough TOUGH questions but never talking over Harry. Unlike many TV Interviewers he’s not show boating. He’s asking key questions and trying to understand Harry. Give him his own show!’
Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: ‘That was the most extraordinary, enlightening, and sad interview I’ve watched for a long time. Chapeau [hat] to @tombradby for being that compassionate and fair but still holding him to account. Not easy to do under these circumstances.’
‘Really like @tombradby way of interviewing, professional impartial but still compassionate he listens and doesn’t have his own agenda,’ another penned.
‘Also hasn’t dropped “their whole friendship” thing. Seems fair and not some hack looking for a big moment of Harry. Phew some good journos left!’
‘I thought @tombradby did a great job with that interview with Prince Harry,’ another wrote. ‘Revealing, scathing and no holds barred. In a nutshell, this is my story, I have every right to tell it. If you don’t like it, that’s your problem.’
Harry: The Interview is available to stream on ITVX.
