I’m A Celebrity star Scarlette Douglas had quite the fright during her first night in camp after seeing a snake in the night.
The cast of 2022, which includes the likes of Boy George, Owen Warner and Chirs Moyles, are currently adjusting to jungle life, and unfortunately, that means a lot of creepy crawlies.
As the stars were sleeping, a snake made its way through camp which was a nice surprise for the A Place In The Sun presenter.
‘We had a visitor last night,’ she said in the Bush Telegraph the following morning.
‘And I’m still here to tell the tale, most importantly.’
Curious as to whether her other campmates saw the reptile, she asked: ‘Did you see the snake?’

‘Are you freaking kidding me,’ remarked Loose Women’s Charlene White.
‘No it was wound up, and it was coming towards me, very very close,’ Scarlette added.
Comedian Babatúndé Aléshé was very grateful he ‘hadn’t seen the snake’ as ‘everybody in Australia would have heard about it.’
Elsewhere during tonight’s installment, Olivia Attwood – who has left the show on medical grounds – Chris, Boy George and Scarlette faced the first Bushtucker trial of the series.

However, the fabulous four triumphed as they collected eight stars.
Broadcaster ITV hailed Sunday’s launch episode as ‘the biggest TV overnight of the year outside of national and sporting event’ as well as the ‘biggest entertainment launch on any channel this year’, and that’s before Matt Hancock has even joined the other campers.
