I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! viewers were slightly perplexed by Boy George’s bold claim that his fellow campmates aren’t being themselves.
During Saturday’s installment, the stars including the likes of Matt Hancock, Sue cleaver and Matt Tindall enjoyed a spontaneous game of What’s the time, Mr Wolf? while the Karma Chameleon hitmaker sat in the corner with comedian Seann Walsh.
So far the fiery clashes within the jungle have been pretty minimal, however, the 80s pop star is adamant there’s ‘no real love there.’
‘Whenever everyone’s being all well behaved, to me it doesn’t feel real,’ he began.
‘There isn’t love there, I don’t know these people and I don’t know them to love them. I love Chris [Moyles] because I know him, but to pretend we’re in a hippy commute and everyone’s getting on and not rock the boat detests me a little.’
Attempting to challenge his claim, Seann argued that his fellow co-stars were just enjoying an innocent game and that getting along was ‘nicer than the other option.’

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Boy George explained: ‘Everyone keeps saying “we’re getting on, we’re getting on” and that’s fine, but it’s hard to be totally yourself in this environment anyway, you’re with people you don’t know.
‘You’re only getting the surface experience of what they are. I’m lacking the stimulation I’m looking for. I think all of these people will be more fun outside of here, but people aren’t being themselves and I can see it.’
Safe to say Boy George’s admission left viewers at home raising their eyebrows, with one bemused person tweeting: ‘Is Boy George really moaning because the others are having fun and getting on?’
‘For someone that meditates every morning, Boy George brought extremely negative energy to the group when they were having fun and being positive?’ another added.
It was recently reported that the Culture Club singer nearly threw the towel in after becoming disgruntled over a golf buggy.
The 61-year-old is thought to have had a meltdown when he became exhausted following a Bushtucker Trial and wanted to travel in the vehicle rather than walk.
According to sources, when crew members refused the request, Boy George stormed off and hid behind a tree to prevent the camera team from filming him.
As he concealed himself in the foliage, the insider said he pinched an apple from a shocked member of staff.
