I’m A Celebrity star Jack Maynard has proposed to his girlfriend Lily Mackie and, spoiler, she said yes.
The YouTuber, who left the ITV show’s jungle in 2017 after offensive tweets were unearthed, shared news of his engagement to Pippa Middleton’s neice on Instagram this evening (Friday December, 15).
The 29-year-old shared a slide of pictures of the happy day, beginning with a shot of him and Lily appearing to be celebrating with a glass of pink champagne.
The couple were also accompanied by two French Bulldogs, who were adorably dressed up as groomsmen and were seen cuddling them on the beach post proposal in one image.
Another, meanwhile, showed Lily beaming as she sliced a pink cake decorated with macaroons and a ‘Mr & Mrs’ sign, while one of the final pictures was of Jack and Lily wearing raincoats and beaming at the camera, with her sparkler in full view.
The social media star simply captioned the post: ‘Today, I got a fiancée 💍❤️.’

Naturally, Jack’s comments were flooded with congratulatory messages, including from his popstar brother Connor Maynard, who joked: ‘Today, I had a sandwich. Fml.’
Internet personality Ambar Driscoll enthused: ‘Ahhh amazing amazing!!!!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️.’
‘FINALLY🥹🎉cant wait to celebrate you two!!!🤍😫,’ Aida Hidalgo added.

It is thought that Jack and Lily, who is the niece of former MIC star Spencer Matthews and therefore Pippa’s niece, as Pippa is married to Spencer’s brother James, started dating in 2020.
Jack reportedly became ‘smitten’ with her after meeting her through his pal and Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire.
Jack has previously dated Georgia Toffolo, with the pair going public with their romance after appearing on I’m A Celebrity together back in 2017.

Their time together in the jungle was cut short, however, as Jack was booted out of the show after just three days when his tweets from 2011 and 2013 that included racist and homophobic slurs resurfaced on social media.
Speaking about his swift exit from I’m A Celeb while appearing on Celebrity: SAS Who Dares Wins, Jack said it was hard to recover from as he felt ‘publicly shamed’.

‘About two years ago I was on I’m A Celebrity and I got removed after about four days from tweets when I was about 15 resurfaced that were politically incorrect,’ he explained.
‘I think it was a massive knock in my confidence being so publicly shamed, mentally I have been all over the place and I have lost a lot of confidence.’
