It’s hard to believe it’s coming around to that time of year again, as it seems just last week Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle, but I’m A Celebrity 2023 is creeping up on us.
That means rumours have begun circulating about the stars and, er, politicians, that could be heading Down Under under the watch of long-time hosts Ant and Dec.
Last year, the line-up included the likes of Boy George, Chris Moyles and Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver, as well as the unexpected addition of disgraced former health secretary Matt Hancock.
Really anyone could be signed up by I’m A Celeb bosses, although speculation is rife they’ve already tempted a This Morning star, a soap actor and, yet again, a controversial politician.
Let’s take a look at all the rumoured campmates for I’m A Celebrity 2023.
Liz Truss

Liz Truss wouldn’t be the first, nor probably the last, politician to jack in Westminster for a few weeks Down Under, following in the footsteps of colleague Hancock.
According to betting site OLBG, the Conservative MP Truss is currently sitting at odds of 25/1 to be the part of the next batch of celebs to enter the jungle, as reported by The Sun.
She’ll be hoping she lasts longer in the jungle than as prime minister…
Josie Gibson

This Morning hun Josie Gibson has been reportedly offered a huge sum to join I’m A Celebrity in a bid to lure her away from Strictly Come Dancing.
A source revealed ITV bosses were ‘hellbent’ on snapping up the 38-year-old because ‘she’s incredibly down-to-earth and seems to strike a cord with people at home.’
They continued to The Sun: ‘They’re confident Josie will bring the laughs to I’m A Celebrity as she already does on This Morning and is guaranteed to get on with most of the jungle campmates.’
Catherine Tate
Catherine has already admitted there’s one trial she couldn’t stomach (Picture: BBC)
Catherine Tate may be best known for comedy, including the recent BBC show Queen of Oz, but hasn’t ruled out an appearance on I’m A Celeb, although she does have one condition when it comes to the bushtucker trials.
She told: OK: ‘I’m A Celebrity – I’m not saying never, I’m just saying, not now. I could literally do anything in the jungle, you could put me with rats and bury me underground, anything like that – but I couldn’t be eating that old gear they give you.’
Alan Halsall
Alan could be following in the footsteps of other soap stars including Owen Warner (Picture: ITV)
Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall, who has been paying mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the soap since 1998, is rumoured to be swapping Weatherfield for the jungle.
‘Tyrone is one of Corrie’s most-loved characters so Alan comes with a ready-made fan base,’ a source told The Sun.

They continued: ‘Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.’
I’m A Celebrity is available to stream on ITVX.
