Huw Edwards still receiving six-figure BBC salary eight months after last TV appearance
Huw Edwards is still reportedly receiving his six-figure BBC salary despite not having appeared on air in nearly a year.
The News at Ten presenter was suspended from the corporation last July following allegations he paid a young person who sent him sexually explicit images more than £35,000.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed there was no evidence to indicate a criminal offence had been committed at the time, but BBC also launched their own ‘fact-finding’ investigation.
Since then, the 62-year-old presenter has not appeared on screen.
