Hugh Grant has finally revealed the unique names of his daughters for the first time.
The 64-year-old, who had never publicly revealed the names before, spoke on the Jimmy Kimmel chat show on Tuesday, and discussed how he’d chosen monikers for his eight-year-old and six-year-old daughters, who he shares with wife Anna Aberstein.
The chat show host quizzed the Notting Hill actor on his middle name, which is Mungo, and Hugh admitted he had ‘very unkind parents’.
After pressing if Hugh had gifted his middle name on any of his children, the actor responded: ‘Worse. I have a daughter who I named… I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named her, and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was Danger.’
‘So her name is Lulu Danger Grant. Austin Powers, you know?’
In the first Austin Powers film, International Man of Mystery released in 1997, Powers – played by Mike Myers – corrects a man who asks him if his name is Danger Powers.
The man retorts, ‘it says here Danger Powers,’ to which Austin suggestively looks at Elizabeth Hurley’s Vanessa Kensington and says: ‘No, no, no – Danger’s my middle name.’
Discussing Halloween, and how much his daughters like it, he also revealed Lulu’s sister is called Blue Grant.
‘Named Blue because again I panicked about names with my wife so we asked [Lulu’s] elder brother when she was on the way,’ he shared.
‘We said, “There’s a new baby coming along, what should we call her?” And he said, “Kevin,” because that was his favorite Minion,’ the dad-of-five said, referencing film Despicable Me.
‘And we did think about calling her Kevin but then we said, “You better think of something else.” So he said Blue, because it was his favorite color.’
Hugh is also dad to his son John Mungo, 12, who he shares with his wife, and daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi, 13, and son Felix Chang Hong, 11, who he shares with Tinglan Hong.
This comes after Hugh revealed he ‘got smashed’ while partying with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Hugh revealed how they all met when he put out feelers to see if he could get tickets for her sold-out shows for him and his daughter.
‘To my astonishment, (Swift and her team) said, “Come along”. And I thoroughly enjoyed it,’ he said.
‘I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend who is an American football player.
‘We did tequila shots in the back of this … hut in the middle of Wembley (Stadium). We got absolutely smashed,’ he added when speaking to NME.
Hugh had a career pivot recently, as he is hung up his romantic comedy boots to star in a new horror film, Heretic.
The Wonka star plays a ‘psycho’ mysterious horror villain in a part performance are already dubbing the best of his career.
