A huge fire has broken out near a World Cup fan village in the city of Lusail.
Photos and video footage from Qatar show plumes of thick black smoke billowing from the roof of a building overlooking the supporter accommodation at Qetaifan Island North.
It was visible from a marketplace in central Doha as football fans milled among its shops and restaurants.
The blaze was around two miles from Lusail Stadium, scene of Argentina’s shock defeat to Saudi Arabia and where the final will be held on December 18.

Lionel Messi and co will return there for their make-or-break clash with Mexico on Saturday.
Qatar’s interior ministry said the Civil Defence had the fire under control and that no injuries were reported.
The fire is the latest in a line of infrastructure problems that have arisen during the tournament, which has cost an estimated £185 million since Qatar secured the hosting rights 12 years ago.
