Netflix is cracking down on password sharing (Picture: Getty)
Netflix announced last week that it would finally be cracking down on password sharing, meaning that people living in different households will have to pay to share an account.
With the crackdown coming to the UK in the midst of a cost of living crisis, many who had been sharing accounts will be thinking about cancelling memberships to cut costs, or cancelling accounts from other streaming services such as Amazon and Spotify to be able to afford a Netflix membership.
Fortunately, they have all made the cancelling process simple and pain free.
Here’s a step by step guide to cancelling your accounts.
How to cancel Amazon Prime
Unfortunately, if you are looking to cancel your Amazon Prime subscription, this will also mean losing your Amazon Prime delivery service which lets you get free one-day delivery on Amazon orders.
If you would like to proceed and in order to end the subscription, you will need to go to the Manage Your Prime Membership section of the Amazon website.
Then click on the end membership option.
If you are only on a free trial and want to end the service you would still go on the Manage Your Prime Membership page, but select the ‘do not continue’ option.
