Big Brother is set to make a triumphant return to our television screens.
The hit reality series, which ran between 2000-2018, gave us some truly outrageous and iconic moments as a group of strangers were forced to cohabit in the Big Brother house – while we watched their every move.
It’s been confirmed that Big Brother will be back for autumn 2023, and the wheels are already in motion as auditions to become a housemate have opened.
Airing on ITV2 and ITVX in the New Year, the new series will feature ‘carefully selected housemates from all walks of life’ that will set up home for ‘up to six weeks’.
So how can you apply to be part of the action?

How to apply to be on Big Brother 2023?
Applications are now open for you to enter the Big Brother House.
If you want to apply, all you need to do is visit the Big Brother website and fill in the application form.

‘We’re looking for the nation’s most interesting, funny and entertaining characters from all walks of life,’ the website reads.
‘Think you’ve got what it takes to be a great housemate?
‘If you want an amazing experience and a chance of winning an incredible amount of money, we’d love to hear from you.’

Details you need to include on the application form are your name, date of birth, the city you are from, your gender identity, and occupation.
You must also include your phone number, email address, and any social media handles you have including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
There is also a more detailed about you section, and you must submit a recent video and a short clip as part of your application.
Once you’ve completed your application it will be looked over by a member of the casting team who may get in touch to discuss the next steps in the application process, according to ITV.
What are the rules?
To apply to take part in the show there are a few rules you must follow.

You must be aged 18 or over, and have the right to reside or lawfully reside in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.
You must also be available to take part in the programme for up to eight weeks from Spring 2023.
When do applications close?
Undecided whether to apply? There is still plenty of time to make a decision.
The closing date for applications for the upcoming series is Friday, June 23, 2023.
Applications need to be in by midnight on this date to be counted.
Big Brother will return to ITV2 in 2023.
