The trailer for the Real Housewives of Potomac season seven reunion is here, teasing an explosive showdown between Gizelle Bryant, Candiace Dillard and her husband, Chris Bassett.
Their marriage was thrown into the spotlight at the beginning of the series when Gizelle accused the chef of making her feel ‘completely uncomfortable’ during an unaired private conversation, which she claimed took place backstage at the last reunion.
The Reasonably Shady host approached her RHOP co-star over the claims, with the budding musician instantly jumping to her husband’s defense, vowing that their relationship will not be destroyed for the sake of a ‘storyline’.
After she revealed that that her partner found it tough to deal with the claims, he appeared at the reunion to have his say on what went down.
‘You use this show to lie on people because you have nothing else going on,’ Candiace told Gizelle in a newly released video, to which she replied: ‘How did I lie on Chris?’
The foodie was having none of it and begged for answers in another clip, asking her: ‘What did I do?

‘I’ve suffered through this for 10 months. Losing clients, closing money, answering to my family!’
The footage ended before she could answer him, with the first part of the reunion airing on Bravo on Sunday.
Candiace previously admitted that her beau had not been ‘well’ over the drama, revealing that the speculation surrounding his behavior had taken a huge toll.
‘He’s better now. He was not well. As Dorinda [Medley] would say, “Not well, b***h,”’ she said on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. ‘He was not well for quite a while. It was a mind eff for him to have this picture painted of him because that’s what Gizelle did.

‘She painted a picture of him that didn’t belong to him. She created a narrative that was completely false and damaging and hurtful.
‘We were blown away at the number of messages and comments of people that were calling BS and saying that they didn’t believe it. But there’s always that 0.5 percent that says, “Oh, he did it,” or whatever they say.

‘There are headlines that will live on the internet that insinuate that my husband is a predator, and you can’t undo that. And that’s why it’s so damaging for people to be able to make things up.
‘It’s hurtful, and he was very hurt by it.’
Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays on Bravo and is available to stream on hayu on the same day.
