Harry Styles helped a fan reveal the sex of her unborn child during a concert in Los Angeles on Friday.
The Watermelon Sugar singer noticed an usual sign in the crowd and took part in an unorthodox gender reveal for a fan called Sydney.
The fan, who was four months pregnant, handed Harry a sealed envelope with her baby’s gender hidden inside.
Pausing to chat to the crowd in between performing his much-loved hitlist, the artist stopped to read a sign that said: ‘Is my baby a boy or a girl?’
Building the tension with the help of his band, Harry shared with the audience Sydney would be having a girl.
The stadium erupted with applause as pink lights fell across the packed stands and Harry ran round the stage fist-bumping the air.

Caught on camera, the moment was uploaded to TikTok, where the popstar can be heard saying: ‘She’s about to do the single hardest thing in the world there is to do.
‘I’m sure it’s gonna be fine. The most beautiful thing there is to do in the world. And it’s gonna be…’
Harry paused for dramatic effect and added: ‘Los Angeles, this is a Friday night you will never forget. Here we go. May I please get some tense gender reveal music?’

Playing a beat, the former One Direction member didn’t miss the chance to have a joke, commending the band for ‘very nice’ backing music and pondering if it could be ‘something for the fourth album perhaps?’
Before finally announcing the news that had the entire audience on tender hooks, he played a little more explaining: ‘This is called edging’.

Harry’s concerts seem to be an arena of choice for big fan revelations as this wasn’t the first time his help was requested for a big announcement.
Last June, the megastar assisted a fan who wanted to come out as gay live on stage at Wembley arena in London.
Again, reading a carefully written sign in the crowd that said: ‘From ONO (One Night Only) to Wembley: Help me come out’, Harry willfully obliged and replied by lifting a rainbow flag above his head.
With the words: ‘When I wave this flag above my head, you will officially be gay my boy’, the singer waved the symbol of the LGBTQ+ community high to the applause of the audience.
Harry is currently on his Love on Tour 2022 schedule that is due to finish next year.
