The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! final is days away – but Seann Walsh won’t be there.
Seann became the seventh star eliminated from the 2022 reality series, after surviving over two weeks in the Australian jungle.
The star faced his fears in some gross Bushtucker trials and was pushed to extreme hunger when the camp had to make basic rations stretch, but now it’s back to home comforts.
Ant and Dec headed into the camp to announce the news, with Jill Scott, Mike Tindall, Owen Warner and Matt Hancock now in the final four.
Chatting in his exit interview with the Geordie duo, the comic couldn’t speak highly enough of his campmates, but was also in sheer disbelief at the wild ride he’d been on.
‘I can’t believe it,’ Seann began, struggling to put his time in the jungle into words.

‘So many amazing memories,’ he continued. ‘I absolutely loved it. It is tough, and I don’t know how much that comes across, but it is tough for everyone, but as soon as your name’s read out, all of the tough bit just goes and now I’m just left with absolutely incredible memories.’
‘I’m gonna need a long time to process it,’ he added.
Seann reflected on entering camp as an undercover mole with Hancock, noting how bizarre it was to share his late arrival with the former health secretary.
‘Very good, guys. Well done. Good job, I was not expecting that! I don’t think anyone was’, the comedian laughed with Ant and Dec.

Seann then earned cackles from the studio as he quipped: ‘When I saw Matt, I did think, “Maybe I’m not going out first”.’
But, the politician has made it all the way to the penultimate day in camp and will take on Celebrity Cyclone, which Seann is rather gutted to have missed out on.
‘He was absolutely lovely and he’s still there for a reason, he’s a lovely guy, he’s very funny,’ Seann praised.
However, Seann is adamant he hasn’t overcome ‘any’ fears during his time Down Under, after doing everything possible to avoid taking part in trials.

‘Maybe I can stand nearer to a spider than I could before, but that’s it,’ he said.
Despite how challenging his I’m A Celeb stint was, Seann was thankful for his fellow campmates and their support, but noted the madness of not only meeting a pop star, but washing Boy George’s back.
‘I can’t wait to find out what my mum was thinking,’ he laughed.
After discussing his Strictly Come Dancing snogging scandal in camp, Seann admitted it felt like a ‘safe space’ to talk about those experiences after previously struggling with how people ‘perceive him’.
Confessing to feeling ‘very anxious’ about going onto the show, he added: ‘We all listened to each other in there. Everyone got their story out, not just me, there was so much support. We all accepted one another for who we are today and in that jungle, and I think everyone got a fair go in there.

‘To get this far, it feels great.’
He also teased a WhatsApp group with his fellow celebs once the show ends and seems keen to stay in touch with everyone.
As for who he wants to win, it’s Lioness Jill all the way for Seann.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow on ITV.
