Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold absolutely slayed on Friday’s episode in a corset and tiny leather underpants but some viewers were somehow unimpressed.
The showbiz presenter, who joked the epic outfit ‘came down from his loft’, was dressed to impress for a special segment about the Rocky Horror Show to celebrate its ongoing run at London’s Peacock Theatre and upcoming UK tour.
Although he was all suited up in the studio, the video package was an entirely different story as he appeared in full costume to chat to former Strictly star Ore Oduba (who plays Brad) about the iconic production.
He also learnt how to do the Time Warp with associate choreographer Andrew Ahern, throwing himself into the routine.
‘Rocky Horror just embraces everybody in their true uniqueness, their true originality. They are free to express themselves completely. I don’t know why you’re pointing at me,’ Ore laughed, gesturing at Richard. ‘Because this is a full expression of a man who’s truly himself.’
The presenter – who is no stranger to making people blush on GMB – quipped: ‘Who left his troubles at the door – and most of his clothes.’

Back in the studio, Richard joked that they had shown the ‘breakfast friendly version’, and Charlotte Hawkins said: ‘I love the fact that you threw yourself into it.’
‘It’s been years since I’ve seen your nipples,’ Ben Shephard teased, while Richard quickly replied: ‘You only have to ask!’
In a contrast to Rocky Horror’s message of acceptance and inclusivity, it seems not everyone got the memo as some people on social media actually complained about the hilarious display.

‘It is very inappropriate to show richard arnold in a corset first thing in the morning. put me right off my breakfats (sic),’ ranted one viewer.
Someone else – who is definitely not a prude – tweeted: ‘I’m no prude but do we really need to see Richard Arnold in a pair of knickers, basque, stockings and suspenders and heels?’
‘@GMB was there any need for Richard Arnold in corset, suspenders & feather boa at 7.30 in the morning? 🤦🏼♀️ – for Christ sake!! 🤦🏼♀️ you need a morning watershed,’ claimed another viewer.

Also, the answer is yes. Maybe he should wear it in the studio next time…
