George Clooney has proven he is, as ever, the most doting husband to wife Amal, as he stopped on the red carpet of the 45th annual Kennedy Center Honors to help her showcase her stunning dress.
The couple were attending the Artist’s Dinner at the Department of State in Washington, DC and looked ravishing together as they dressed up for the black tie event.
Donning a classic black tuxedo, the actor looked handsome as he posed for pictures with his lawyer wife Amal.
The 44-year-old legal professional stunned on the red carpet in a floor-length off the shoulder gown that featured a cape that trailed behind her as she walked.
Before posing together for photographers, George was snapped adjusting the back of his wife’s dress in a sweet moment, so it was picked up looking its best.
George and Amal were there to show their support for the annual honors awards that recognise those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.

Presented annually since 1978, The Kennedy Awards culminate each December in a gala celebrating five honorees.
The Ticket to Paradise actor said of the honor: ‘Growing up in a small town in Kentucky I could never have imagined that someday I’d be the one sitting in the balcony at the Kennedy Center Honors.
‘To be mentioned in the same breath with the rest of these incredible artists is an honor.

Standing alongside the Hollywood icon on the list, other Honorees for the past year included the likes of Gladys Knight, Cuban-born American composer, conductor, and educator Tania León and the legendary Irish rock band U2, who’s members comprised of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.
George’s accolades for his work in film thus far have earned him two Academy Awards, five Golden Globes, four SAG awards, a Bafta, two Critics’ Choice Awards, an Emmy, four National Board of Review Awards, and the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.
The actor met his human rights lawyer wife through a mutual friend in Italy when the pair were introduced at a casual dinner. They’ve been married since 2014.
