Former Geordie Shore cast member Gary Beadle’s wife Emma McVey offered fans an update on her health following her latest heart surgery.
The 30-year-old mum of two underwent an operation to fix three holes in the organ and shared some heartfelt words on her social media on Tuesday.
Tying the knot in 2021, the couple shares two children – a son Chester, five, and a daughter Primrose, three.
Taking to Instagram, Emma expressed her gratitude towards the healthcare workers that supported her during the surgery and admitted she felt like she was given a ‘new life’ to spend with her children.
Underneath a picture of the beauty lying in a hospital bed, Garry’s wife penned: ‘#HeartMonth I came into this month with a healthy heart, I’ll never be able to thank my surgeon, doctors, nurses and everyone else involved.
‘I had 2 small holes, 1 large hole and my tricuspid valve repaired. They’ve given me a new life to enjoy with my babies and really don’t get the credit they deserve.

‘I’ve come so far since this photo 2 weeks ago, right after this was taken I was crying and throwing up all over myself unable to move, my brother and mum just swapping buckets under my chin.’
She continued: ‘Day 2 I cried from the pain trying to take a deep breath in and cough, day 3 asking how I’ll ever be able to get myself out of bed.
‘Here I am now, I left the house yesterday and watched the kids play outside on their bikes and I’ve never been happier.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I’m yo-yoing like you wouldn’t believe, my emotions are so up and down, it’s gonna be a slow recovery but I am so excited to see where I am in just a few months time.’
The reality star – who made a name for himself following his infamous womanising – alerted his fans to Emma’s health condition last month when she was taken into emergency care.
Gaz reassured his followers he was prepared to ‘hold down the fort’ at home while his wife recovered from her operation.
He went on to explain it would take Emma three months to recover following the procedure and admitted it had been a ‘very hard very stressful very emotional day [sic]’, ahead of her check-in at the hospital.
