    'Frank Talks': Nigeria's Trade Ministry in France on deal and investment drive

    In tonight’s edition, In town on a rare state visit to France. We speak to Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment about her administration’s plans to woo more private funding.

    Also, after the distancing of Djamena and Senegal, it now looks like France will have to scale down again its military presence across Africa.

    And in the Democratic Republic of Congo, very few women rarely pursue scientific careers.

    To add context to the story, the investment in Nigeria is based on French proposals to drive French businesses in Africa and especially Nigeria.

    The French economy is on the verge of collapsing and will need a bailout from the EU and setting up new deals in Africa will help bolster the country’s rating and financial position.
