From a frozen fish to Neymar Jr., there are a bunch of new non-playable characters added to the Fortnite island.  

Random characters roaming the island of Fortnite have become a staple of the game, plus they’re fun to interact with, whenever you’re not being chased down by enemies.

You’ll often need to pay them a visit over the course of Chapter 4 Season 1 to complete certain quests and earn XP.

So far, there are 15 non-playable characters on the Asteria map, which is an unusually small number, if you consider that the sixth season of Chapter 2 had over 40.

This means that they’re quite hard to come across, as they’re spread out all throughout the island.

From classic characters like Sunflower to newly added ones like Helsie, the vampire hunter, we’ve mapped out all these bystanders for you to find: 

Aura – At Crude Harbor, one of the northernmost regions at Brutal Bastion 

Evie – At the Shore Shack, southwest of Shattered Slabs 

Frozen Fishstick – At the cabin at the Icy Islets, west of Brutal Bastion 

Frozen Red Knight – At the centre of Brutal Bastion 

Omega Knight – At Secluded Spire, southwest of Slappy Shores 

Princess Felicity Fish – On top of Western Watch, southwest of The Citadel 

Raptorian The Brave – On a hill at Pleasant Passage, east of Shattered Slabs 

Neymar Jr. – Inside the football pitch at Slappy Shores 

Scrapknight Jules – At Faulty Splits 

Helsie – At the forest northwest of Faulty Splits 

Joni The Red – At Rowdy Acres, southwest of Frenzy Fields 

Snowheart – At Cold Cavern, far northwest of Brutal Bastion 

Sunflower – At Frenzy Fields 

Surrr Burger – At Anvil Square 

Wild Card – The northern side of Shattered Slabs

You can try and hit up a number of these characters in one game, by jumping on the newly added dirt bikes, though don’t forget to check how much petrol is left.

If you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll also find a powerful boss called the Ageless Champion has taken over the medieval castle at the Citadel. 

You don’t need to worry much about him though as we’ve figured out how to defeat him and claim his freebies, including the mythic-tier Ex-Caliber Rifle.
