A flytipper has been fined £1,600 after leaving two enormous piles of rubbish and furniture on the pavement outside her own home.
Tanya Bayley, 30, dumped two beds, electrical goods, smashed tables and bags of garbage dangerously across the walkway.
The mountain of mess was discovered by rubbish collectors who were called to collect three bulky waste items from the front garden in Ilford, east London.
But when they arrived, council officers found trash piled high outside her home, causing a danger to pedestrians, especially disabled people and parents with pushchairs.
Bayley admitted putting the rubbish outside her home when they gave her a £100 fixed penalty fine for ‘highway obstruction’.
But Bayley did not pay the fine and despite being sent reminder letters, she had to be summoned to court.

She did not turn up to court on November 8 and magistrates found the case proven in her absence, handing her fines totalling £1,601.
Redbridge councillor Jo Blackman said: ‘This case underlines the need for people to take responsibility for managing the waste on their property.
‘The council will take action where waste is obstructing the footpath which can pose a real danger to those with young children or using prams, wheelchair users or the visually impaired, who are forced into the road.’
