First Lady Jill Biden will undergo a procedure to remove a lesion on her right eye that was found in a routine skin cancer screening.
The first lady, 71, will be seen next Wednesday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, said Dr Kevin O’Connor, who is physician to President Joe Biden.
Doctors recommended that the first lady have the lesion removed in a ‘common outpatient procedure’ O’Connor said on Wednesday. The lesion will be examined ‘in an abundance of caution’, he said.
