Not an anime tie-in (pic: EA)
EA’s final FIFA game is back on top of the UK physical sales charts as One Piece Odyssey fails to make an impact.
There’s only been one major new game release so far this year, although it seems that maybe One Piece Odyssey doesn’t quite deserve that description, as it only managed to enter at number 14 in the retail charts.
Other anime tie-ins have done much better, at much busier times of the year, so that’s a bit of a surprise and suggests that either the series has less fans than assumed in the UK or they’ve all spent their Christmas money on existing games.
There was a change at the top though, with God Of War Ragnarök and FIFA 23 switching places, although it’ll be interesting to see if here’s more substantial change once Fire Emblem Engage launches this Friday.
