- The Sun’s front page leads on the funeral of former boyband member Liam Payne – who died last month after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina. His former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik were in attendance at the Buckinghamshire service.
2. UK missiles hit Russia
- The front page reports Ukraine has used British weapons to strike Russia noting the UK’s green light for Ukraine to use Storm Shadows to attack Russia came just one day after the US did the same.
Divisions emerge in response to ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu

The ICC has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and his former defence minister, Yoav Gallant. The ICC says both men – alongside a Hamas leader who was killed in July – bore “criminal responsibility” for crimes during the war between Israel and Hamas. The court accuses Israel of using starvation as a war tactic and for intentionally targeting civilians.
