Fans fume over Netflix removing ‘near perfect’ period drama with 95% Rotten Tomatoes score
Season three of Bridgerton just dropped and now one of the best period dramas on Netflix, Little Women, is set to disappear just as fans are craving more of the genre.
The 2019 film, based on a novel by the late author Louisa May Alcott, stars Saoirse Ronan (Jo), Emma Watson (Meg), Florence Pugh (Amy) and Eliza Scanlen (Beth) as the March sisters.
They are joined by Meryl Streep as Aunt March and Timothée Chalamet as Theodore Laurence.
Greta Gerwig’s adaptation is actually the eighth time the popular book has been made into a movie, but fans absolutely adore the period film, all about the sisters’ journey into adulthood in the 1860s.
