Eschewing its traditional red masthead in favour of a mournful black, the Daily Express describes the families of those who lost their lives in the Nottingham stabbing attacks as”united in grief”.

Nottingham’s student community found itself swept by a mood of “numb, uncomprehending grief”, the Express writes. Thousands came together to remember the two young students killed in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
