Liverpool, West Ham and Rangers are all in Pot 1 ahead of the Europa League group-stage draw on Friday.
The 32 teams have been split into four seeding pots based on UEFA’s club coefficient rankings.
Pot 1 includes West Ham, who won the Europa Conference League last season, Liverpool and Rangers alongside Roma, Ajax, Villarreal, Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta. Brighton, who qualified for the Europa League by finishing sixth in the Premier League last season, are in Pot 3.
Clubs from the same nation cannot play each other in the group stage.
The winners of each Europa League group will go through to the round of 16. The runners-up move into the knockout round play-offs and will play the teams who finish third in their Champions League group. The third-placed sides in each Europa League group will go into the Europa Conference League knockout round play-offs, where they will play the Europa Conference League group runners-up for places in the last 16.
This season’s final will be held at the Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland on May 22, 2024.
