Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants to raid his former club Ajax and sign three of their star players, according to reports.
United have already brought in two players in the current January transfer window with striker Wout Weghorst arriving on loan from Burnley while goalkeeper Jack Butland moved to Old Trafford on loan from Crystal Palace.
Dutch boss Ten Hag took charge of United in the summer following a five-year spell at Ajax in which he led them to three Eredivisie titles and two KNVB Cups.
He took two players from Ajax with him to Manchester – signing winger Antony for £86m – and defender Lisandro Martinez for £48.3m, plus an additional £8.4m in add-ons.
According to The Sun, Ten Hag is once again looking to sign some top Ajax talent and is keeping tabs on three different players.
Ajax defender Jurrien Timber is among the stars Ten Hag would like to bring in with the 21-year-old impressing at centre-back this season.
Timber, who made his senior debut in 2020, has registered 23 appearances for Ajax so far this term, with six of those coming in the Champions League.

He has spent his entire career at Ajax having progressed through the club’s youth academy and already has 14 caps for the Netherlands.
Ten Hag is also keen on Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch, who has also impressed across his 20 appearances this term.
Like Timber, the 19-year-old progressed through the club’s youth academy and earned his first Netherlands cap in 2021.
Kenneth Taylor is the third Ajax player on Ten Hag’s radar with the 20-year-old central midfielder scoring five goals and making three assists in 14 Eredivisie games this season.
Taylor is an Ajax youth academy product too and has three caps for the Netherlands after making his international debut last year.
