Lulu has opened up about her contribution towards the 60 years of James Bond and admitted that her own song isn’t her favourite theme tune.
Last night, The Sound of 007 In Concert marked 60 years since the world premiere of Dr No, the first 007 film, on October 5, 1962. Guests were treated to a dazzling journey through the musical legacy of James Bond, including a stunning performance from Dame Shirley Bassey. Singer and actress also took to the stage to sing her iconic theme song Man with the Golden Gun but revealed she secretly wanted Paul McCartney’s song.
BBC Breakfast hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent were discussing the incredible anniversary, with Sally expressing: “None of the 007 movies would be complete without their opening theme songs.
