England has the most valuable World Cup squad at €1.26 billion
England’s World Cup squad is worth a staggering €1.26 billion – the highest of any other team in the tournament.
England will take on Iran, USA and Wales first before heading *hopefully* to the next stage.
England boss Gareth Southgate announced his 26-man squad last week, and the team are a wonderful mix of experience and youth and mostly Premier League players.
Southgate and his team will be hoping to go further than last year’s Euros, where they lost on penalties in the final to Italy.
According to Transfermaret, England are the most valuable international squad right now.
Brazil and France are the other two nations who break the €1 billion mark.
England have two players worth over €100 million. Jude Bellingham who plays for Borussia Dortmund tips the scale at €110 million and Manchester City player Phil Foden at a reported €100 million. Then captain Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka in around the €90 million mark.
