England captain Harry Kane receiving treatment for back injury in Euro 2024 scare
England captain Harry Kane will miss Bayern Munich’s final match of the Bundesliga campaign against Hoffenheim after picking up a back injury.
The 30-year-old striker – who has scored 44 goals in a record-breaking debut season for Bayern – has returned home from Germany and will receive treatment from his personal doctor.
The news comes as Gareth Southgate finalises his plans for Euro 2024, with the England head coach set to announce his preliminary 26-man squad for this summer’s tournament next week.
Kane has enjoyed a largely injury-free season at the Allianz Arena, barring a minor ankle issue he sustained in mid-March.
