Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has never had an easy time of it, most recently having had a seriously rocky few months with her relationship, and having learned the chilling news that Lachlan was being moved. But a fresh tragedy is set to befall the fragile Emmerdale dweller.
For a moment, life got good for Belle when she finally put aside her concerns and agreed to move in with her boyfriend.
Though there’s something off about Tom, the couple were finally happy for a while. It was smiles and giggles all round, until the couple were hit with yet more bad news.
Belle learned of Lydia’s (Karen Blick) rape, which broke her heart and nearly broke Lydia’s marriage.

But while Belle is trying to support her sister-in-law, she learns that Tom has been harbouring a terrible secret.
Belle is horrified to learn that Tom’s mum is dead, and he’s kept it to himself.
