Moira was able to help Nicola (Pictures: ITV)
After Angel (Rebecca Bakes) forced Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) to accept that she was partially responsible for the crash involving Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) in Emmerdale, she attempted to make some changes for good in Thursday’s (June 1) episode.
Angel was worried about Nicola this week as she seemed hellbent on getting revenge on Moira, convinced she was solely to blame for the collision and putting Angel in hospital.
The young girl knew that it wasn’t as straight forward as that and told Nicola that she isn’t achieving anything by trying to destroy Moira, but could end up making herself ill again, which happened after Naomi (Karene Peters) and a group of girls attacked her in a multi-storey carpark.
Nicola knew that she had to change and decided to alter what she had been saying online tonight, but she wasn’t expecting people on social media to go after her, with many calling her a coward and questioning why she had stopped her pursuit for justice.
This led to a panic attack which was witnessed by Moira, who wanted to help.
Outside the shop, Moira quickly realised that retaliating to what Nicola was saying wasn’t going to calm her down. She sat beside her, chatted about the farm and then listened to her friend, who believed she was ultimately the one to blame for the crash.

Thankfully, the two women found common ground as they continued talking.
They accepted that they’re both in a position where they’re constantly spinning plates as working mums, both want what’s best for their children and sometimes, as much as they try, mistakes are made.
The chat ended with Moira encouraging Nicola to take time and invest in self-care, and they even managed to laugh together, a sign this feud is most definitely over.
