Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) official first day at his new job ended terribly in Emmerdale as he was sent to hospital after breaking his toe.
Woops.
Mack’s work changed recently when Moira (Natalie J Robb) broke the news that he wasn’t able to continue his usual job at the farm due to the ongoing money problems she’s experiencing.
She is trying to build her business back up again after agreeing to help from Caleb (William Ash), but is aware she needs to remain with less staff while things balance out.
While Nate (Jurell Carter) – who was also in the same boat – took to finding work with a dodgy man called Corey, Mack decided that Cain (Jeff Hordley) would benefit from his mechanic skills at the garage.

Cain reminded Mack that he’s most certainly on a trial run in his role, but was somewhat surprised to discover Moira’s brother isn’t as bad at fixing cars as he initially thought.

He is, however, very clumsy.
As Moira pulled her truck up, she opened the passenger door for Mackenzie, who hopped out of the seat with crutches.

While Nate approached, the siblings discussed how Mack managed to drop an engine block on his toe, causing it to break.
Moira laughed at her brother’s car-based accident, leaving Mack to realise his pride is probably hurting a bit more than his toe…
