What does the future hold? (Picture: ITV)
It seems like only yesterday we made the shocking discovery that Kyle (Huey Quinn) had been the one to murder Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) in a shocking Emmerdale twist.
We discovered Kyle pulled the trigger after spotting Cain and Al fighting in the barn, which only occurred because Cain had discovered Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) affair.
Since then, Cain (Jeff Hordley) has languished in prison, having taken the blame for his son.
It’s been a difficult time for the family at Butlers. Moria (Natlaie J Robb) and Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) worked to keep Kyle quiet and let him live a normal life, however, the truth came out over the festive period as the young lad made an official confession to the police.
With the help of Cain’s estranged brother, Caleb (Will Ash), Moira and Amy have been trying their best to keep the young boy out of prison.

Now, Kyle’s fate is set to finally be revealed, as his hearing gets underway.
Amy is left concerned when both Kyle’s solicitor and Cain share their fears about Kyle’s judge. Despite feeling shaken, she puts on a brave face for her son.
Caleb offers Amy reassurance as she and Kyle head to the hearing, but will it work out in their favour?
