A holiday in Portugal was supposed to take Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham)’s mind off Emmerdale for a while. She’d be able to relax in the sun and forget about Nicky (Lewis Cope) the fiancé who jilted her at the altar because he’s gay, the one who’d only been pretending to be in love with her as part of his secret dad’s secret revenge plot.
She’d also forget how quickly he’d moved on to a new relationship with Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana).
She’d also be able to stop obsessing about almost kissing Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), a man who is happily looking forward to the birth of his first child with his wife Dawn (Olivia Bromley), who also lives in the same house as Gabby.
Alas, it seems that as lovely as Portugal was, as soon as Gabby arrives back in the Dales she’s still seething about all of these things. She has a quick check-in with Billy just to remind him that they almost kissed and to reassure him she’s absolutely over it and they’ll just forget about it. Just how serious Gabby is about forgetting about it remains to be seen, but it’s certainly not something Billy wants to revisit so he readily agrees.

When your personal life is a shambles, work can be a welcome distraction. Unfortunately for Gabby her work involves catering establishment the Hide. Even more unfortunately, while she’s been away Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) has decided to appoint a new chef.
Suni Sharma.
Gabby is fuming and turns to Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) to air her annoyance. Jacob does his best to be sympathetic, but Gabby isn’t a woman who lets things go easily and when Suni starts work she reacts very badly indeed.

We’ve previously seen her getting very drunk and lashing out at Nicky – which was the incident that led to the near-kiss with Billy. Could she turn to violence again in an attempt to oust Suni?
What lengths will she go to to make sure Nicky – and Suni – know that she isn’t one to forgive and forget?
