Chloe knows what she wants (Pictures: ITV)
We have to give it to Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), she’s certainly determined. Ever since Reuben’s birth in Emmerdale, the young mum has been focused and confident, highlighting that when she wants something, she isn’t going to stop until she gets it.
That something – or someone – in question this time is Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb), Reuben’s dad.
The new parents have been getting on well ever since Charity (Emma Atkins) discovered their secret and last night, Chloe sensed chemistry growing.
After receiving good news about Reuben’s health following his bacterial meningitis diagnosis, Chloe leaned in to kiss Mack.

Sadly, he swerved and brushed it off, putting it down to Chloe’s emotions just being heightened.
This led to some awkward scenes tonight, as Chloe wondered whether Mackenzie had told anyone about the kiss.
Mackenzie continued to ignore Chloe’s very obvious feelings for him but neither spotted Amy (Natalie Ann Jameson) approaching, who overheard the word ‘kiss’ and worked out what was going on.
Amy told Chloe that trying to be with Mack was a bad idea, but her sibling completely ignored the advice and met up with him again.
Chloe explained to Mack that she tried to kiss him because she really likes him and believes that he might feel the same.

Highlighting that being together now would be a bad idea, given that Mack’s marriage has just ended, Chloe went on to say that she thinks they could be a happy, proper family.
But what does Mack want?
