Caleb’s ulterior motives for being in the village could very much extend to Kim Tate – is he out to destroy her? (Picture: ITV)
Caleb Milligan (William Ash) could be on a mission to destroy more than just Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in Emmerdale, with the newcomer hinting at causing chaos up at Home Farm.
The businessman, as viewers know, moved into the village late last year in a plot to get to know his family, much to the horror of Cain, who did everything he could to banish him.
Caleb, however, refused to abandon his plans to make friend with his long-lost relatives, and eventually, Cain softened, but little does he know that his so-called sibling is actually up to no good, seemingly on a mission to take him down.
But while Cain appears to be the one Caleb is on a course to destroy, the newcomer also has has sights set on going into business with Kim Tate (Claire King), who he previously set up a stud farm with – with Kim signing on the dotted line, much to his glee.
Is he actually just trying to make money? Or is he scheming in regards to Kim too? Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) has warned Kim time and again that Caleb just isn’t to be trusted, but Kim refuses to believe such a thing, reckoning her hubby to just be jealous.
But could there be some truth to Will’s theories?
Monday’s (February 13) offering of the serial drama saw Caleb determined to get into Kim’s office, hoping to obtain some documents from her office.

Sam (James Hooten) agreed to let him into the room, much to the horror of Will, who went through him for a shortcut, ordering him to keep Caleb away from the private offices.
Caleb, however, has again refused to stay away, making it quite clear that he’s here to stay whether Will likes it or not. He claimed Kim asked him to obtain such documents, but Will wasn’t so sure.
Even if Kim did ask Caleb to hunt in her offices, can Caleb be trusted? Or has he just pulled the wool over her eyes like he has everyone else?

Is Caleb perhaps playing Kim too? Is there a secret reason as to why he wants to be in business with her so badly? If so, just what is he plotting?
This woulds certainly feed into the theory that he’s in cahoots with nanny Nicky (Lewis Cope), who works up at Home Farm!
Emmerdale continues Tuesday February 14 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Caleb is up to no good, that much we know, and Kim might have more of a role to play in his plot than we initially thought.
