Several Emmerdale residents are playing with fire next week, as Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) can’t resist her passionate affair with Caleb Miligan (William Ash), while Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) us unable to avoid her growing connection to baby Ivy.
Tracy and Caleb continue to take reckless risks, leading to some near-misses – and Caleb’s jealousy causes him to scheme against oblivious Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
Elsewhere, Rhona’s offer of support to grieving Gus has ulterior motives. As the exhausted dad struggles to cope, Rhona spends time cradling Ivy, and falling in love with her daughter.
It looks like it may end in tears when furious Gus kicks her out – but she isn’t about to give up.
In other developments, Kim Tate (Claire King) decides it might be time to come clean about Craig to Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), while Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) struggles with his condition.
Monday December 4

At the hospital, Rhona watches from her car as Gus leaves.
Enamored Tracy and Caleb are in the throes of passion when they’re interrupted by an unsuspecting Nicky.
Matty feels the strain when a depressed Mackenzie asks him outright if Amy knows where Reuben is.
Tuesday December 5

Rhona’s behaviour soon raises suspicion with Marlon and Mary. Mary’s shocked to learn Rhona has secretly been seeing Ivy at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Rhona covertly makes her way through the hospital, trying to get to Ivy.
She quickly hides as overwhelmed Gus arrives but Gus is shocked to find Rhona and Mary in the hospital.
Later, Rhona crumbles under Marlon’s questioning, and a pointed look from Mary forces her to admit she’s been seeing Ivy.
Tracy browses a lingerie website but is feeling guilty when Nate comes home and compliments her.

Wednesday December 6
Marlon worries for Rhona and her connection to Ivy (Picture: ITV)
Rhona’s guilty to know she’s pushing her luck as she plans to take supplies round to Gus. Later, she and an uneasy Mary walk towards Gus’s front door.
Unimpressed Gus stares at them, shattered. An encouraged Rhona wastes no time stepping inside when Gus agrees to their help but when he falls asleep, Rhona takes the opportunity to cradle a sleeping Ivy.
Mary’s alarmed to see Rhona holding Ivy and Gus is furious when he wakes up and tells them to leave.
Tracy heads to lock the door to the shop so she can enjoy some alone time with Caleb, when Sam bursts in – ruining the moment.
Back at home, Nate grins as he holds out Tracy’s package. Tracy melts when a complimentary Nate woo’s her. The pair head upstairs.
Later, quiet Caleb sits alone as he decides whether to text Tracy when giddy, loved up Nate and Tracy arrive and Tracy tries to avoid Caleb’s eye. Caleb doesn’t like what he sees.
Thursday December 7

When Caleb spots Tracy and Nate arm in arm, he heads off to intervene and he manipulates Nate into giving him some time alone with Tracy to find out why she hasn’t replied to his message.
At the Pub, jealous Caleb can’t stand hearing about Nate’s plans for some afternoon delight with Tracy and decides to invent a job for him to do instead.
Soon Caleb and Tracy are back in a passionate embrace as Nate makes his way to the Mill.
With Lydia anguished by her many unanswered questions over Craig’s suspicious death, Kim considers telling her the truth.
