Nicky Milligan’s (Lewis Cope) ex-boyfriend (or boyfriend, we don’t quite know where he stands at the minute) Ally (Josh Horrocks) is back in the Emmerdale village soon to make a last ditch attempt at stopping his lover from marrying Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
We know that the last thing Nicky wants to do is marry Gabby, but he’s been backed into a corner and given no choice by his dad Caleb (William Ash), who is busy trying to bring down Kim (Claire King) and Home Farm after it was revealed the father and son are relatives of Frank Tate.
Despite Nicky coming out to his dad, Caleb has still pressed on with the plan, telling his son that he needs to dump Ally and marry Gabby if they want to be successful.
This led Nicky following his dad’s orders and ending things with Ally, who was suspicious and in this new video, he still remains adamant that he can change Nicky’s mind.
As Gabby’s friends and family enjoy the food and drink in Home Farm, Nicky is stunned when Ally walks in.
He takes him into the kitchen and says that he must leave, but Ally gives Nicky a taste of the life he so desperately wants, telling him they could walk out of the front door and just keep walking, leaving this difficult and complicated life behind.

Sadly, it isn’t enough to sway Nicky and as Ally leaves, Gabby walks down the stairs in her wedding dress, completely oblivious of what lies ahead.
As Caleb’s plan nears completion and he gains access to Kim’s accounts, Kim also faces losing her home. Claire King thinks that the fan reaction to this outcome is likely to be mixed, with some people rooting for her character who’s often seen as the villain but is the victim in this case, while others will think she’s getting what she deserves.

‘I think [some] would probably like to see the downfall of Kim Tate,’ she laughed. ‘Others are on Kim’s side saying “They can’t do that! She belongs in that house.”’
As to how Kim is likely to react if Caleb’s plan is successful and she loses everything, Claire told us that Kim would be playing a long game – and would definitely be looking for revenge.
‘She’s not going to be a happy bunny, is she? I think “best served cold” might come into it. She will bide her time, I think.’
