A week to remember, that’s for certain (Picture: ITV)
Poor Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) has had quite the week in Emmerdale.
In the middle of the stress that came with the B&B opening, Bernice found herself flirting with the harpist called Tim.
After spending the night together, Bernice woke up and wasn’t really focused on Tim, who was still sleeping. She had overslept and needed to get ready for the arrival of her guests ASAP!
Due to the fact Bernice didn’t attempt to wake the harpist, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) went up to the room before he was due to play.
However, to his horror – Bob thought Tim was dead!
As chaos ensued, Tim eventually woke up and revealed he had actually taken a sleeping pill as Bernice was snoring incredibly loudly.
Phew.
Despite the scare, that didn’t stop Bernice from reflecting on her wonderful time with Tim, and joked during Thursday’s edition of the ITV soap that he had ‘wonderful fingering’.
Of course, this was in relation to Tim’s skill as a musician, but that still prompted many Emmerdale fans to pick up on the brilliant inuendo.

‘Lots of double-entendres in Emmerdale tonight from Bernice’, one fan laughed. ‘Tim the harp players lovely fingering, his fabulous instrument. I get my sick giggles where I can!’.
‘Wonderful fingering! Bernice!! It’s 8 o clock!’, another said.
‘I think he sees Bernice as a good businesswoman and she’s got a lot of good ideas and she’s got half the money, which I think is vital as well’, actor Tony Audenshaw told us recently, reflecting on the new dynamic between Bob and Bernice.
‘And she’s excited about it, which is a nice thing, and he’s excited about it. The fact they’re both excited about it is a good thing. He’s got his doubts about her because she’s bossing him around a bit and she wants one thing and he wants something else, but I think he’s up for it!’
