We’ve been inundated recently with brilliant air fryer recipes – with everything from sausage rolls to banana bread.
But did you know you can use your air fryer to enhance drinks too?
People on TikTok are sharing how you can elevate homemade cocktails by using an air fryer – simply by selecting the dehydration setting.
One user called Cami has shared how to give your drinks a fancy ‘bar-style’ upgrade by garnishing your beverages with dried citrus fruits.

In her TikTok, she pops lemon slices into her air fryer for a few hours using the dehydration feature.
‘When you’re too lazy to go out but are still feeling fancy,’ she says in her video, while demonstrating her trick.
It’s worth pointing out that Cami has the Ninja AF101 Air Fryer model – but lots of other fryers have this dehydration setting too.
The TikToker adds that she makes a batch of these dehydrated lemon slices and keeps them in a jar – ready to be added to cocktails as a sophisticated garnish.
Of course, it goes without saying that the same effect can be achieved with oranges and limes as well as lemons.

One person wrote: ‘Air fryer with a dehydrator might be the most amazing thing ever.’
While another added: ‘I was today years old when I found out my air fryer has a dehydration setting.’
