Stacey’s secret gets out (Picture: BBC)
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner)’s well-meaning actions to help put food on the table for her family have serious consequences in up coming EastEnders episodes when her pregnant daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) decides to quit school because of her.
Stacey has been selling intimate images of herself online for money, after getting the idea from Freddie (Bobby Brazier) who was making good money after amassing a fan base of people eager to enjoy the sight of his trotters.
After trying any other way she could think of to earn a bit of extra cash for her family, including a run-in with an extremely nasty loan shark, Stacey eventually conceded that there was no harm in giving Freddie’s method a try.
Unfortunately in upcoming episodes we’ll see that her actions do cause harm after she’s recognised when she turns up at Lily’s school to deal with a bullying problem. A group of pupils recognise her from her Secret Cam page, and the word soon spreads and quickly makes its way to Lily.
Lily is massively embarrassed about what her mum has been doing. Now, as well as picking on her because she’s pregnant the bullies also have the extra ammunition of knowing that Stacey has been doing web cam work. An outraged Lily confronts her mum in front of the rest of the family.

Stacey is mortified and finds it hard to face the family, particularly Jean (Gillian Wright) who is massively disappointed that her daughter would get involved in something that Jean thinks of as seedy and disgusting.

For Lily the bullying only intensifies as a result of what Stacey’s done and she comes home insisting that she wants to leave school because she can’t face the bullies any more.
Will Stacey be able to convince her to change her mind?
