Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) made a dramatic EastEnders exit, leaving the Square after finding out that Dot Branning (June Brown) had left her iconic house to Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) instead of her.
The schemer, as viewers know, had been under the impression that Dot would be leaving No.25 to her in her will.
Sonia, who has lived in the property for years, was taken aback when she discovered that Dotty intended to sell the house and spend the money on travelling, and thus she contemplated finding somewhere else to live.
The will reading subsequently took place, with Dot’s solicitor revealing what was left to who. Dotty was delighted to hear that her grandma had left her £10,000, but still she expected to get No. 25.
The barmaid, however, was rendered speechless when she discovered that Dot had actually left her property to Sonia, citing all the love and affection that the nurse had shown her as the reason why.
Sonia was overwhelmed, and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who was present for the meeting, was delighted for her.

Dotty, however, was not, claiming that Sonia had dripped ‘poison’ in Dot’s ear and manipulated her into signing over the house.
Fuming that she didn’t get what she wanted, Dotty lashed out, destroying all of Dot’s precious photographs, before trashing the kitchen and dousing it, attempting to set the place on fire!
Rocky (Brian Conley) intervened, taking the match from Dotty, who packed up her belongings and left the Square, after a goodbye with ‘best friend’ Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).

‘To hell with Walford!’, she exclaimed, branding Sonia a ‘boring old bag’ as the taxi rode out of sight.
Milly Zero, who plays Dotty, confirmed earlier this year that she would be leaving the BBC One soap.
