There are shocks aplenty for the Paensars, as Suki (Balvinder Sopal) decides to stand by Nish (Navin Chowdhry) after she finds him preparing a meal for the family, but their happiness is short-lived as the police arrive to arrest Suki for Ranveer’s murder!
The family in question fret as Suki is questioned by the police and Kheerat (Jaz Singh Deol) wastes little time in pointing the finger at Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who is nowhere to be found.
Is Suki set to go down for a crime she didn’t actually commit?
Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), meanwhile, are engaged! Linda (Kellie Bright), having made the discovery for herself, lets the news slip to Shirley (Linda Henry), who is fuming.
Shirl makes it her mission to put a stop to the wedding. Mick, meanwhile, proposes properly to Janine, who is on cloud nine.
Linda is all set for a blind date after Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) does some organising, and Alfie offers her words of encouragement. When her date fails to show, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) steps in to buy her a drink, which leaves Mick annoyed.
Mick subsequently lets Alfie go from the pub, but Alfie asks him if it’s reallyJanine that he’s in love with, which hits a nerve.
EastEnders airs these scenes w/c Monday November 7 on BBC One.
