Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) could be set to have her heart broken once more in EastEnders, as Zack Hudson (James Farrar) is offered a job opportunity of a lifetime.
The market trader, who is pregnant with Zack’s baby, has her heart set on a future with the chef, following their one-night-stand earlier this year.
Upcoming scenes will see the two spending more and more time together. Whitney is left impressed with Zack’s culinary skills, and when he gives her a foot massage, sparks begin to fly.
Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) and Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) interrupt the moment, however.
Whitney, meanwhile, heads off to get changed, and thus Chelsea and Felix decide to have a word with Zack, encouraging him to go for it her.
Will Zack take their advice?
That remains to be seen, but New Year’s Day will see Chelsea turn her attention to Whitney, as she implores her to make the first move.

Whitney musters up the courage to do just that, but as she goes to speak to him, Zack reveals that he’s been offered the opportunity of a lifetime.
Is an exit on the cards for Zack?
Will he leave Whitney and their unborn child for this new job opportunity? Only time will tell.
Whitney has been living with Chelsea for the majority of the past year, following abuser and serial killer Gray Atkins’ (Toby-Alexander Smith) arrest.

‘Whitney and Chelsea have been through so much with regard to Gray, and that whole thing was awful,’ actress Shona McGarty said.
‘Whitney was hanging off a bridge for Chelsea, so they’ve been through a lot.
‘It’s just lovely for Whitney to have a best girlfriend, she’s not had one since Lauren, and that was a long, long time ago.

‘Also, I love working with Zaraah – she’s an incredible actress and one of my best friends, so it’s not like work at all.’
