A fox has shown what he really thinks of Number 10 Downing St after he cocked his leg and urinated on the prime minister’s Christmas tree outside.
The animal appears to be taking aim at the berry ornaments at the bottom of the tree.
Mr Fox is pictured sauntering up to its new 18ft toilet before relieving itself in front of UK press and police officers.
It comes after Rishi Sunak enjoying switching on the tree’s lights last week.
He joked: ‘As Prime Minister, I’ve got to say, it would be very nice if sometimes you could just click a button and everything would turn out to be brighter.
‘It’s one of the rare chances I’m going to get to do that.’
This year’s tree came from a farm in Dartmoor, which won the title of Christmas Tree Grower of the Year.
Stuart Kirkup, the owner of Dartmoor Christmas Trees, told BBC Radio Devon: ‘It just makes you feel proud.

‘I think there were about 150 trees [in the competition] and it’s voted on by your peers… and ours was champion tree.’
But Larry the cat, Downing Street’s chief mouser, was no where to be seen to chase off the fox.
Last year, Larry chased away a fox who came sniffing around the prime minister’s home.
Despite being half its size, the cat faced off the intruder until it fled down the road out of sight.
